Dr Andreas P. Plageras holds a Ph.D. Degree in Applied Informatics - School of Information Sciences - University of Macedonia - Greece. He also holds a Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Applied Informatics - School of Information Sciences - University of Macedonia - Greece. Moreover, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Information Technology, Computer Technology, and Engineering - University of Western Macedonia.

His main research interests include “Algorithms for Efficient Big Data Delivery, Management, and Analysis over the Internet of Things”. Furthermore, he has knowledge on Web Design and Development, Application Development, Networks and Security, Systems Programming, Cloud and Edge Computing, Big Data Technologies, Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Robotics, and 3D Graphics Design. In the past, he has also worked as a Computer and Network Technician.
